Scoops and Secrets

By Sharon Bowditch

A tarnished gold locket, a cryptic note, and a thirty-year-old disappearance.

Nelly Bell, co-owner of Brackenbay's beloved ice-cream parlour, Scoops & Secrets, finds her quiet life upended when an unexpected discovery in a batch of lemon sorbet points to Rose Bellamy, a young woman who vanished from the seaside town decades ago. Driven by her keen eye for detail and impulsive nature, Nelly, with the cautious support of her identical twin sister Nora, begins to unearth the long-buried secrets of Brackenbay. Their investigation quickly uncovers an old love triangle and a mysterious drowning long considered an accident, but the deeper Nelly digs, the more a sinister truth begins to emerge.

As Nelly navigates the close-knit community, sifting through local gossip and half-truths, a trail of clues leads her to challenge the very foundations of her seaside home. Can Nelly and Nora finally bring justice to a decades-old mystery, or will Brackenbay's secrets remain eternally hidden beneath the waves? Immerse yourself in this atmospheric mystery where past betrayals echo through a charming coastal town.
