From this Architectural Thesis project, SCOD (Sustainable Cooperative for Organic Development) evolved into a broader search for other viable real-world sites for eco-villages. SCOD is a perpetual attempt to catalog, document, and communicate with many people and other existing alternative communities all over the World. SCOD seeks to include all those "that want to be included" in its mission statements. SCOD is an alternative to main-stream modes of thought, because it is by its very definition a plethora of independent minds and ideas; as well as Historical and Green Design Theory.
