Science Surprises by Jean R. Feldman

This book is geared towards early childhood education and does a great job in compiling a variety of activities that are easy to understand, with materials readily available. I teach 100 youngsters (pre-school through senior kindergarten) and they love the activities. There are extensions for all of the projects so that teachers can pursue each project in greater depth. One suggestion for Dr. Feldman would be to increase the amount of information in the "explanation" section at the bottom of each experiment or project. Overall, any teacher of young children will find lots of great stuff in this book.
