This collection of stories revolves around a singular theme: control. Corporate systems, ecological mutations, bureaucratic tolerances, illusions, and webs all press against the fragile boundaries of human choice. Some endings bend toward irony, where the system smothers will. Some sink into tragedy, where the cost is measured in blood or memory. Others speak with tenderness, finding life in unexpected growth.
