Science fact/fiction

In 1975, my high school used this book as a foundation to it's Sci-Fi class. It was one of the first books I read in the field and has remained one of my favorites. It offers a taste of many authors and story types that one might not ever get to see in modern fiction. All of the authors chosen are of high quality, and thier stories can be read again and again. Along with the giants in early Sc-fi you will see authors from other parts of the world. I highly suggest this book.
