Book sent to be reviewed for libraries...

Ok, this is a fun book for children, since young people are always interested in what is going on. However, if we don't take care of these habitats for foxes and raccoons, these creatures are going to search for other places to live including moving into areas closer to humans and their urban develpments. This book is simple to read and actually does a pretty good job explaining the science beind the simple experiments. This is a good source to go to for basics. I've used it for basic concepts and demonstations in hearing and deaf universities. Also demonstrates a fairly good way to understanding how to do the 'scientic methods,' something that is not taught very well at school or at home all the time or even in the labs all the time. (the first time I wrote this book review I must have been half asleep because I definitely did an awful job of it!) Karen Sadler
