We have yet to understand the purpose of our existence, and we are constantly confronted with a succession of problems, trying to figure out the best solution for the situation we find ourselves in, sometimes failing, and struggling to get by. Reading Schopenhauer's philosophy creates a refuge in our hearts. This refuge helps us to get rid of the "will to live" and all the "delusions" that arise from the "will", and to keep the space of freedom within us.
