The entire, unabashed truth by one who knows/tells the truth

School Desegregation, Enough is Enough, by Bill Moss is an excellent, non-rose colored glasses look at education in America (and especially Columbus, Ohio) today, what has gone wrong, and many of the remedies needed to rectify the situation before we reach the abyss of no return. Bill Moss has long been a champion and crusader for the rights of all children. This book gives some insight into what is special and what makes him click. First bursting onto the political scene in 1976, as an anti-desegregation independent candidate for Congress; Moss has permanently established himself as the true defender of children in 2 1/2 decades in educational leadership. Mr Moss served on the public School Board in Columbus during parts of the 1970's, 1980's, and 1990's, where he currently serves today. He has also run for the state legislature, and was once the Democratic Party nominee for Mayor of Columbus. As a life long advocate of truth, a man who campaigned against forced school busing and desegregation for 20 years before the Columbus area NAACP finally woke up and adopted his views on busing, and as the only person elected to the Columbus School Board since 1985, who did not get there with Political Party and/or teachers union endorsements (as well as chamber of commerce); Bill Moss has the unique perspective of being a mover and shaker, who is not also a sellout. The only drawback to this excellent book is that it contains a few spelling errors. This, however, should not dissuade one from reading this excellent manifesto of returning our schools to the communities, and making children once again the center of our education process and system. This book is a must read. For solutions to drugs, violence, gangs, racism, teen pregnancy, murders, loss of values, etc, this book is a good read, and a good starting point for improving our schools, the education within, and our society as a whole.
