Thank you for your interest in preparing for school bus emergencies. Years back, I was asked to teach an extrication class on school buses, as a firefighter and instructor I was unfamiliar with the challenges surrounding that particular rescue. When researching, training, and teaching school bus extrication, I have found many emergency responders haven't been exposed to this technical rescue topic and school districts don't plan for the worst.
