Ian's abilities maybe amazing, but they come with some devastating backlash if not used properly. One could say his powers even hold deadly consequences. Jax has the responsibility to make sure Ian's makes it to a secret school for only special people, mostly children with powers. Jax knows the difficulties of traveling with unique students, but he knows his travels with Ian are going to be frantic, with Mason lurking around.
As Mason is the only human born, which knows of their ancient people and the powers of the Time Keeper, he has become a plague in the world. His hate towards anyone from Jax's and Ian's world is downright nasty, and one would even say evil. His plans to attach Jax and Ian on their train will not go quite as he commanded his people to do. Now they just have to make one stop in Chicago, to pick up another fearless student, Brayden.
Once they switched trains in Chicago, they found themselves inside a very night sealed off room on the train, just for people like them. It's unreachable for the mere human, but Jax, Ian and Brayden are not mere humans, now are they? Their stop in San Antonio turns out to be a very amusing game for Jax, which the others didn't find so funny. Not even the two new travelers that were pulled through the mirror.
Well, let's waist no more time and begin School Bound, so we can find out what happens when they make it to Houston, Texas. Or if they do.
