Biblical typology is the study of the meaning of signs, images, and symbols throughout the Scriptures. Systematic typology, however, is the study of these "picture words" (Hebraic hieroglyphs?) as they comprise visual "sentences." Since these "sentences" all bear the same image, comparing them with each other brings connections to light that are not written in the text but exist nevertheless as rational conclusions in the mind of the reader. When a new connection sparks between corresponding textual synapses, it feels like Someone has already been there and prearranged it. Having hidden these bonus thoughts like Easter eggs, the Father watches and waits for saints with a childlike imagination to discover them.
