K-9 searches for kidnapped child

This is a fantastic suspense from one of my favorite authors. Darlene L Turner never ceases to amaze me as each book surpasses the previous one. Scent of Peril is wrought with peril (as the title suggests) when a young boy is kidnapped. His park ranger dad must team up with his ex-girlfriend, a constable and her K-9. With weapons smugglers in the area, the danger ramps up as they search for the missing boy. Somehow the kidnappers stay one step ahead of them, as if they know their every move. I thought I had figured out the identity of the bad guy, but boy, was I ever wrong! I recommend Scent of Peril if you love inspirational suspense full of twists and turns. I received an advance digital copy to read. All opinions expressed are mine alone.
