Scavengers

By: Kennedy, Doralynn

The house is alive.
And it wants them back.

After barely escaping with their lives, Caroline Oliver and Edward Kelly know the only way to end the curse is to return to Cliff House, the sentient mansion that has hunted and haunted for over 100 years. Now, hiding in disguises in the town of Clifton, Edward and Caroline play a dangerous game of chess on a board that bleeds.

But the house is not the only threat. Case Pharmaceuticals, convinced Edward is the century-old rum runner John Stewart, is closing in, desperate to seize the supernatural secret hidden inside Cliff House. Ghosts stir, old sins rise, and enemies gather as the house prepares for a final confrontation.

To destroy the mansion before it destroys them, Caroline and Edward must face the full truth of the miracle that changed Edward's life, and poisoned the home he built during Prohibition. The past and present collide as they uncover Ruth Wilson's final reach across time and end the house's reign.

What waits inside Cliff House is not just vengeance.
It is destiny.

A gripping, emotional conclusion to The Cliff House Trilogy: where love defies death, legacy demands courage, and the final battle is fought against a house that remembers every scream.

Scavengers is Book Three in The Cliff House Trilogy. I originally said the first and seconds books in the trilogy, Cliff House and Rum Runners, were standalone reads. I no longer believe that. They should be read in order, and all three should be read, or the emotional impact is lost. You can buy each one separately, or you can buy The Rum Runner: The Legend of Captain John Stewart. It is a three-volume omnibus edition. It is more cost effective to purchase the trilogy in one volume rather than in three. That definitive edition is the way the story was meant to be read. Thanks.
