"Scattered" is urban styled poetry that takes you into the mind of a person living life on the edge, struggling to hold on, and delving in to and out of the mysteries of life. It is about being in lovewith the idea of love but not knowing it until it's too late. The poems are edgy, urban, and filledwith passion. They are religious, political, and musical at times. This book was an outlet for me tolet go of the past and welcome the future. I have never been one to follow patterns so many of thepoems are free verse. Some of the poems have a rhythmic form due to my love of music. One of myfavorites is called "Ode to Maxwell" which expresses my emotions as my mind absorbs his music. At times the poems can be erotic... Hope you enjoy
