Great book for any cat lover author of "Hobo Finds A Home"
One of our favorites

In brief: Fun, well-written text and great pictures. This comes from a 20-year editor (who is very sensitive to weak/predictable rhymes in kid's books -- I tend to toss them out if the music of the text is poor) and a cat lover, no less! Just felt the need to add my two cents, because this really is one of my family's favorite books, and I cannot believe it doesn't have 5 stars. We got the book for my daughter at age 2, and she (and we) still enjoy it at age 5. We found the story to be very loving toward the kitties, ultimately, while the unkindness (on the parts of both the humans and cats) is only of the lightest, silliest form. Truly, both my husband and daughter cannot handle any sort of unkindness to animals, and I work now with an animal shelter, and none of us thought the book promoted irresponsible pet ownership -- it's just silly fun!
Adorable book, cute cats

Great for kids who love animals, especially if they like cats. It's full of action and and repeated sounds, which is fun and a good learning tool for young readers (I'd say about age 5-6). The author is obviously a cat-lover (like me and my kids!) since she has written other cat books, and there should be more of us out there! Cats are cool! I highly recommend this very cute book.
Has a cat ever made you mad?

Frustration with the bad behaviors of cats and joy with their good qualities are both told in easy-to-read rhyming sentences. The illustrations are a bit frantic, which is appropriate to the text. This book is a kick.
