Scars: Life after the Tsunami, is a revealing photo-book documenting life and landscape in Banda Aceh, Indonesia and surrounds after the 2004 Indian Ocean earthquake and subsequent Tsunami. Armed with a Hasselblad x-pan camera, Dr Trustrum captures the life and landscape of the harrowed lands on several trips to the area. Much of the photography shows perspectives never seen before such as aerial views of the damage. The book chronicles several visits to the lands showing disaster but also showing the recovery and rehabilitation.
