Healing IS possible

Wow. "Helpful" doesn't even begin to describe this book. It left me enraged, anguished, blessed, ecstatic, and joyful, all at the same time. A must for anyone who has endured the horror of childhood abuse (sexual or otherwise), as well as for the people who love them. This book will help you to see yourself, understand, name and own your own feelings about your abuse, and most importantly, give you hope that there is, in fact, the possibility of freedom and healing somewhere down the line. Blake Davidson is a godsend for having written this book, and his mother is a hero for having the courage to share her story. "Thank you" is too weak an expression to demonstrate the gratitude I feel at having read this wonderful work.

Amazing example of God's love and forgiveness!

I read the book in 24 hours...I couldn't put it down. The true story was captivating. I cried and laughed along the way. This book is for anyone who has ever been abused in any way...or anyone who has trouble forgiving someone who has hurt them. God really does work in mysterious ways and it doesn't happen overnight all the time but He still performs miracles. I found this book challenging to read thru my tears but once finished I felt renewed and I know I can forgive too....totally forgive...not just sort of forgiving and forgetting.
