As a black poet who grew up in the South Side of Chicago, I introduce you to my mind.

Scapegoat is my own poetry book about dreams, realities, and universal existence in a general context as well as the lens of a black teenager like myself. It is an ode to Black leaders who have inspired my words and paved way to make them possible. Not only is writing my talent and passion, but its built a huge foundation of my identity and acceptance of the world. Everything you read in Scapegoat consists of my thoughts which I've cultivated on paper, and most importantly, shared and discussed with people in my community who refined them with their own thoughts Everything you read in Scapegoat, let it move you, dissolve you, heal you.
