good reading

This book is one of the best true crime books i have read. I purchased this book when it first came out a few years back. I find myself thinking of this book and the kids in the story everytime i think of true crime. This story will stay with you for a long time. I would recomend this story to anyone wanting a good true crime novel.

Say You Love Satan

The first time that I read this book was almost ten years ago, but I still find myself thinking about the story today. The book has had a huge impact on my life. I recently visited Northport, Long Island, so that I could see the town for myself. It looks exactly the same way that the author described it in the book. The book is very simple reading with an excellent story. I would recommend it to everyone.

A Must-Read For Any True Crime Reader

I first read this book a few years ago, accidentally discovering it in a bookstore, and recognized the name Ricky Kasso from the media. As you read this book, I don't see how anyone with a heart could not help but feel a little sorry for Ricky; this was a CHILD, and we as a society failed him, failed him so wrongly he became entangled in drugs, crime, devil worship, and eventually murder. Unfortunately, Gary Lawvers just happened to cross him at the wrong time and paid the ultimate price.Ricky was not cold-blooded, but a scared teenager with a mind clouded by drugs - his suicide proved that. This book is a perfect example of this country's need to have parents who are willing to be there for their kids. I would never put my child out on the street, the way the Kasso's did. We can't let more and more teens reach the point that Ricky, and sadly, many others, have reached.

A well-wriiten true horror story about drugs and kids

I read this back in junior high school from a reccomendation of a friend.I read the book 5 times and it is still hard to put down. The book is well written with the true facts not being left out. This book should scare you and make you realize the horror of drugs and the risks you take.Definitly a 5 star book

Shocking and unforgettable from the first sentence!!!

I first read this book soon after it's release. It is an unforgettable story. It is one of those books you can't put down and one that you end up taking a look at your life, your values and re-evalute your road in life. It has many invaluable lessons that can be taken from the unfortunate real-life story. Things that once seemed minor to a teen, drugs and the things that emcompass that lifestyle, are shown blowing up all around these kids. I believe that it scared me straight. Though the title has scared friends and family from reading it, it is misunderstood, this is a book well worth reading, parents and kids alike.
