Great book, Great moral teachings

I have twins one boy and one girl they both love the Backyardigans. I am very happy with the show, and this book. I wish there were more shows like this. Not enough children learn to say please and manners in general. It teachs great vaules. Great show and Great book!

Great for beginner readers!

This book is awesome for my 2 1/2 year old to look at her favorite characters from tv, but it is twice as sweet because my 1st grader can read it to her! They enjoy it together and it was a great price for the product.

Good to learn the Magic Words!!

Our 3 year old daughter loves this book. She now runs around chanting, "Say Please!" The only problem is she now thinks that every time you want something you will get it as long as you say ,"Please." It is very cute, so now we tell her, "Thank you for using your manners, but you cannot have that right now, lets go do something else." It is a nice story to reinforce our teachings of saying please and thank you very much--or as she puts it, "Thank you much!"

Great book (and movie too!)

We had this movie and had seen the episode on TV already, so we HAD to get this book. Greatly loved by both my girls (ages 4 and 1)!

Cute Book

If your child likes the tv show The Backyardigans, then they will like the book. It is basically a written copy of the show. Some pages contain a lot of words, but at bedtime, I shorten it a bit. I would order more of these books.
