Russian saved me, now French!

I've never been so satisfied with a foreign language product EVER! I bought the Russian guide. It was my first visit to Moscow. I chose the book because of it's simplicity and common sense approach. Only hours after my arrival, I got locked in my apartment! LOCKED IN!!! Behind a steel door, on the fifth floor, no fire escape. With the splicing of phrases. I got a locksmith. He got me out. I paid him. He took me to a hotel. I thanked him. I've since puchased "Say it right in French" I'm eagerly awaiting the audio release for French in October. The release date for the audio was August, then September. I want the AUDIO!! SVP! Hopefully EPLS will add to all their products: "Help! I'm locked in! Please get a locksmith!" Though I hope to never need that phase again. Maybe someone else will! I purchased the book in German for friends. I hope they'll release a Russian audio version and I'm looking for Polish. I haven't read the other reviews. What more could you want in a travel language book? Keep it simple. Simple works.

Great first review book.

This book (while possibly having a few minor errors) is great for getting a handle on your first 500 French words. I picked it out of hundreds of books I pored over in a book store and it is perfect for the beginner trying to handle your first French words. There are dozens of free Internet sites for hearing the words pronounced, but this book lets you study while you are traveling with no access to these free sites. I give it 5 stars whole heartedly.

I really appreciate thier promptness. They was so curteous. Their packaging was very secure; and delivered brand new (as advertised).
