Say Hi to God

By Layla Korenman

Fourteen-year-old Aurora Rassi has always followed the rules. Keep your hair long. Wear your cuffs. Don't ask questions. But when Aurora discovers forbidden books hidden in her older brother Tanner's room, she begins to suspect the religious leaders are hiding dark secrets. Her suspicions grow after witnessing disturbing events that make her question everything she's been taught to believe. With her friends Amelie and Jordan by her side, Aurora makes a decision that will change her life forever--to escape the only home she's ever known. But her devoted brother Tanner isn't willing to let her go, and the price of freedom may be higher than she ever imagined. As Aurora ventures into an unfamiliar world, she must navigate newfound freedoms while grappling with her past. Can she truly escape Purity End, or will the community's long reach find her again? SAY HI TO GOD is a gripping young adult thriller about the courage to question everything you've been taught and the strength to forge your own path, even when it means leaving behind everything you've ever known.
