Saving the Children from Church: The case to make CHRISTIAN CHURCHES ADULTS ONLY

There are many places that children are not allowed to engage in until they are 18:
Body modifications, like a piercing or tattoo, without parental consent
Travel without parents' consent
Purchase a lottery ticket
Buy an alcoholic drink in most places outside of the US
Buy a pet
Access an adults-only store and content
Legal consensual intimacy with someone over 18
But 18 isn't the gateway to all rights and responsibilities. In the US, the national drinking age is still 21; the same is true with buying tobacco and cannabis in the states where it is legal.
Many states also have a minimum age of 20 or higher for renting a car. Casinos do not welcome gamblers until they are 21.
As of 2020, the top ten reasons books were challenged or banned, according to the American Library Association, included:
sexual content (92.5% percent of books on the list)
offensive language (61.5%)
unsuited to age group (49%)
religious viewpoint (26%)
LGBTQIA+ content (23.5%)
violence (19%)
racism (16.5%)
use of illegal substances (12.5%)
"anti-family" content (7%)
political viewpoint (6.5%)
