On a beautiful sunny day while working in a small local convenient store, my eyes gazed upon this handsome guy who'd just walked in fitting the exact description of someone my daughters mentioned to me a week prior. He approached the counter and with a smile he says, "Hello, how are you? I'd like to get twenty on pump one." With a small smile back I said, "Ok thank you enjoy your day." Shortly afterwards, I called my daughters to let them know of the brief encounter with the young man they had talked to me about. My oldest daughter asked why I didn't say more to him outside of the expected niceties to a customer. I sighed.
