A review From a 13 year old girl.

I loved the book. I couldnt tear my eyes away from it. I found myself, at the end of the book, wanting it to go on. There was never a dull moment in the book. Dyan Sheldon made the book seem like it could really happen in real life. I really suggest you read this book. In this book anything is possible. I actually started crying at the end. I didnt want bj to go away. I liked him a lot. At first I didnt like angel, but then as the book went on i liked her alot...read Save The Last Dance For Me and i promise you will be satisfied with what u read...

The book Save the Last Dance for Me by Dyan Sheldon is a sad but truthful book. It is truthful because it gives you a look on the way teenagers act around each other and about the problems they go through. Even though the story would probably never really happen Dyan Sheldon made it seem like it could. I like the book because I like the way there is not too much detail, but I was still able to picture what was going on in the story. I also like the fact that the book entertained me while I was reading it; there was nothing that did not interest me in the book. Even though I like the book, there are things I did not like. For example, Dyan Sheldon dragged the story too much with the protagonist and the conflict. Also, the ending was nothing of what I expected. The book is about this teenager boy who died in a dreadful motorcycle accident and haunted his house for over thirty years. When beautiful, egotistic Angel moved in, she tried taking over the house; the ghost B.J. did not mind this. Angel and B.J. do not get a long, so Angel decides to free his soul. When B.J. finds out what Angel is trying to do, he gets angry with her. He thinks it is his choice if he wants to leave or not. Angel goes searching to find out information about B.J. She finds stuff out that would help free his soul but the information also helps her to understand him more. I would recommend this book mostly to teenagers because young kids would not understand it as well as teenagers. Adults would not like it because there are not many things that adults would like in the book. If you happen to like books about ghosts and romance, then you should read Save the Last Dance for Me.

Save The Last Dance For Me

When I first picked the book up, it looked more like a romance novel. Then I read it. Wow. It was AWESOME. It was like I was there watching, or I was Angel or B.J., and I could see everyone's point of view. I would recommend this book to almost anyone, it's not a horror story about ghosts coming back for revenge, or a sappy romance book. It's almost real life.
