Satisfaction in Parenting

Every parent should have this book. Tells how to address all issues with discipling, chores, etc., in a positive, non-yelling way--called the "cool, calm, collected cop!" I can't say enough about this short, concise book. Fathers should read as well as mothers.

The best guide to child-raising on the market

We used this book to help our children reach a happy and healthy adulthood. It offers down-to-earth suggestions, things you can do, instead of psycho-babble. The examples and anecdotes are true to life, things that could happen to any family. Kids fighting in the car, teenagers forgetting when to come home at night, the chores that never seem to get done. I particularly like the idea that by doing what is best for me, I'm also doing good for my kids.
