The book of Proverbs is part of the Bible, the Word of God, about morality and godliness applied to daily life. The teachings of the Egyptian sage Amenemope are part of the proverbs. The objective is to give wisdom and discernment to the human being. Although the attribution of paternity is to Solomon, son of David and king of Israel, it does not mean that the whole book belongs to Solomon. It is a speech from a father to his son, without a strict order, and presented mainly in the form of antithesis.Its purpose is to teach wisdom to people and they are presented in the form of parallels. Solomon wrote and compiled three thousand maxims and proverbs.They are truly the wisdom of God for the daily journey of human life.Although the prayers follow one another in no apparent order, it is very useful to try to group together those who deal with the same subject: fear of Jehovah, source of true wisdom and folly; the rich and the poor; the diligent, the lazy, the drunk; father and children, youth; the corrupt and virtuous woman, marriage; The language will be anger, tricks, kindness, humility, character, heart, health, prayer, testimony and government.
