Wasn’t what I expected but I’m glad I read it

Even though I didn’t feel that connection I love when I’m reading, I decided to continue because I love reading and I feel satisfied when I finish a book. Plus, I always despised the idea of rejecting what I think is someone’s art or a different way of thinking but that’s just from my perspective. I think the story is slow-paced but that’s not always a bad thing. I like to think of it as build up. I don’t think this would be a cozy read either because there is some action and killing along the way, but nothing brutal; more along the lines of survival instincts. Regardless, I’m enjoying the reading material. I thought the reunion between Connor and Gloralei made me tear up. Then I laughed when someone told them to get a room.
