Melissa went to the famous arts high-school, Duke Ellington School of the Arts in Washington, DC where she received professional arts training that helped shape her drive. She then went to get her Bachelors of Arts in Photography from Columbia College Chicago. She has a Cinematography certificate from UCLA. She received her Masters of Arts in Film from the David Lynch Program. Los Angeles is where she resides. She is working on putting out her second volume soon.
