Charlie and Esteban are best friends who live in a small town called Playas de Tijuana. During their summer break Charlie finally takes Esteban's offer to teach him how to surf, he figures there's nothing exciting going on he might as well learn something and spend some time with his best friend. When some visitors come to invade the local surfer's territory, trouble ensues. With him as a new cover Charlie has to learn how to navigate the waters in surfing and in the local's territory. Will he be able to take a real role in the group and be accepted?
