Great book for a San Diego buff

A couple things first. It was written in the 1980's, so a lot of it is obviously dated. There are references to the USSR, and a topic like "who's the most famous baseball player from San Diego?" really doesn't work because it obviously changes and new faces show up. All that being said, it's a great book. A lot of neat trivia like why University Heights is named that (where's the University?), and other interesting aspects of, well, San Diego trivia.
