San Diego great reading

I am a second generation San Diegan and that caused me to pick up the book, but good reading kept me going. The well written stories made it a perfect bedtime read for a little each night, but I got so involved that I always wanted to read "just one more". I thought I knew my local history, but there was just so much more there to learn.

How did I not know that?!

As a native San Diegan I was floored to find out how much I didn't know! Full of lots of fun tidbits not just for a visitor but for long time residents too. I'm giving it to friends for Christmas this year. Read it, you won't be disappointed.

Couldn't put down!

We just visited your country, happened on to a book signing in Old Town in San Diego. Got to meet Mr. Innis and got a signed copy! We loved San Diego and now know what great stories exist in your past.

What an amazing book!

I seriously could not put this book down. There are so many different stories and legends in San Diegos history. I lived in San Diego for 30 years and had heard a few of these tales, but to have them all together. Wow!

So many great stories!

This book really surprised me--it has so many great stories about San Diego. I was amazed to learn about so many things I didn't know and I've lived around here all my life. I got the book at a store in Old Town when I was visiting ( I live in Oceanside, California) the Sate park, and then I found myself reading alot of the book that night when I just picked it up to look at it. I'm going to keep it by my bedsie and read little bits now to make it last!
