San Bernardino Mountains

High Quality Content by WIKIPEDIA articles The San Bernardino Mountains (Huwaaly Kwasakyav in Mojave) are a short transverse mountain range north and east of San Bernardino in Southern California in the United States. The mountains run for approximately 60 miles (100 km) east-west on the southern edge of the Mojave Desert in southwestern San Bernardino County, north of the city of San Bernardino. The range is separated from the San Gabriel Mountains to the west by Cajon Pass, and from the San Jacinto Mountains to the south and southeast by Banning Pass. The southern extent of the range is bounded by the San Andreas Fault.
