Samuel Templeton and the Poison Pen Letters

When Sam and Stevie Templeton move from their busy suburban home on the outskirts of London to the quiet sleepy, chocolate box pretty village of Templeton in the heart of the Cotswolds, they're expecting, peace and quiet, tranquillity and calm.

Instead what they get is murder and mayhem with a village in turmoil struggling to cope with the appallingly vile letters that are circulating amongst the villagers culminating in murder and attempted murder.

At the behest of the worried residents of the village, Sam, a self-confessed murder mystery addict agrees to look into the letters as it appears the police are doing very little to attempt to get to the bottom of the situation.

As a result, the Templeton Detective Agency is set up as Sam, with his wife Stevie by his side, tries to unravel what is happening in the village, to find out who is sending these letters, why they are being sent and whether they are connected to the murders and attempted murders that are occurring in and around the pretty English village.
