Sammy the Hippo Goes to Day Camp

Follow Sammy, a young hippo, as he discovers the joy and adventure of attending his local day camp. He says goodbye to his mum, dad, and little sister, Sophie as he heads off to the camp bus. Once at day camp he joins the rest of the Blue Group in three different activities; Bugging Out, Braids and Beads and Free Swim.

He teams up with Simon and they become friends during their bug hunt. You will see an inchworm and a cute inquisitive black ant.

Sammy is inspired in the Braids and Bead craft activity to make his little sister, Sophie a bracelet using her favorite colors. In his excitement, the bracelet falls under the table and into the grass. Sammy doesn't notice until later when he tries to find it.

After a filling vegetarian lunch, the Blue Group goes swimming, which is Sammy's very favorite thing to do.

Sit with the hippo family as they share the days' activities with each other and a gift is bestowed on Sophie. After such an active day, Sammy falls asleep on the couch. Goodnight Sammy.
