Samira is an alleged illegal Pakistani immigrant, who lives to suburb of Tehran, Iran, with her family. She is in her early twenties. She has already started a relationship with Farhad, an Iranian lonely boy, who is in his twenties too. He has difficulty communicating in society due to a feeling of apprehension and shyness. Although Samira is perceptive in regards to her problems in the new country, she is barely empathetic about Farhad's feelings. Their meeting to talk, dance, and playing Snakes and Ladders in Samira's house during a rainy evening goes undesirably wrong after Maliha who is Samira's mother finds out Farhad is in the house. A psycological short story by Harry A. James, a newly self-published author.
