Moses is a figure in the background of the story. It is really the story of Samatya, Hori, Malissa and Rachel and their journey to discover what they really believe. That the story is important to the author is evident in the telling of the tale. How they find their true beliefs amid the events leading to the Exodus is inspiring as well to those familiar with the biblical story.
