Salt and Earth is about the human race and how struggle, love and pain knows no bounds. It is a reflection of the deep and complicated human nature that we struggle with. An expos of our deference with nature, with each other, with feelings we are afraid to reconcile because the price for revealing our shame and admitting to ourselves that we should be better to each other is too high. This poetry book is about humanity hiding from its truth without ever being humble enough to recognize that the people we are hurting most are our love ones, ourselves and the Earth.
