A young man has fallen on hard times. It is not known why, or how, he got to be so unlucky. But each year, each fall, seems to bring a new disaster, a new catastrophe that turns his life on its end and puts him back to square one.Living in this city was hard for him. Always sheltered by his parents, he now longs for someone to replace their role, to give him stability. Nothing will ever be the same as his carefree days, lounging around their estate and enjoying evening after evening with his mother. He knows this. But he can't help but search; he can't help but find someone, just one person, that he can be a part of.His very life hangs on a thread. Ever since he could remember, the men in his ancestry were beset with a terrible illness, one that would come and go in periods but never fully leave. Set in psuedo-Japan, where cherry blossoms bloom in the spring and last throughout the summer and into the fall.
