Perfect book for a 16 year old Christian girl

I had a hard time putting this book down! I bought it for my 16 yo old son, but I decided to get started on it first! I’m glad I did. I think it’ll have a bit too much “love” in it for him. It’ll be sweet and perfect for our friends 16 yo daughter tho! It’s the perfect amount of “love” for a Christian teen girl. The author did a fabulous job describing the way these characters had to run out of the back door and go to the wilderness to live is exactly how I picture the near future to be. Her attention to the details of how difficult it will be and the importance of knowing what to do in an emergency is perfect. And now I have some more good “survival skills” in my back pocket. I can’t wait to read #2!
