Lots of Unusual Stuff

This is an enjoyable book as it has something for everyone. The jaded art major will see little published paintings and sculptures, the costume lover will be intrigued by the historical clothing, and the engineering type will enjoy the historical maps, and mechanical diagrams that show how ceilings and domes were constructed using various mechanical devices. The quality of the numerous illustrations vary in this 500 plus page book, but overall I would say the photos are very good to excellent.
