The sailing logs of a skipper in his twilight years .In 2012, my arthritic condition deteriorated, to the point that I had great difficulty walking. In 2013, I sold my Westerly Griffon, thinking my sailing days were over. Little did I know, at the time, that ankle fusion would change my life, restoring my mobility. I began crewing for others and doing deliveries, sometimes as crew, sometimes as Skipper. In September of 2019, aged 76, I bought another boat. A Westerly Centaur. This book describes the period, from being unable to walk, through the recovery and back to full time sailing. It includes my logs, of sailing for 7 years during which time I have sailed 3865 NM.
