Safe medical abortion in Congolese law

In the framework of the GP, the human dignity of women is emphasised, certainly in all aspects of life. It is further emphasised when abortion, which is produced and carried out in dangerous conditions, is presented as a major public health problem. Thus, the state must reduce infant mortality as much as possible so that the number of actual births can correspond roughly to the number of desired births. It would then be the state's obligation to explain and facilitate the use of contraceptives in order to avoid the inconvenience of exploitation by unscrupulous charlatans and fetishists. Therefore, it seems obvious that intervening in the field of medical abortion, as foreseen by the PM's legislator, is an opportunity for the Congolese legislator to act in the best interest of the child and to assist the lives of these women victims, who not only bear unwanted children, but even more seriously, when the acts that generate these pregnancies prevent their victims from having a better future, and infringe on their honour, their dignity and even their right to life.
