Any book that moves me to tears deserves 5 stars. Despite the fact that romance is not my preferred genre and even though I skipped all the kissing scenes, I thoroughly enjoyed this book. Was the MC a bit goofy? Maybe. But she was so real and relatable. I loved all the characters in this book, the story read like I was actually watching a season of Master Chef which is a favorite show of mine, I could see the influences there. I could honestly go on…and on…and on…AND ON about how much I loved this book. Did Amanda Elliot just change my mind about my no romance novels policy? Shooketh.
