One of the coolest books I’ve ever read

This book truly breaks so many of the rules of what a “good book” should be. The dialogue scrawled in the margins and crammed in between the footnotes is incredible. I really felt like I was reading *the* book the characters had had. The exact copy. The dialogue between characters is just as interesting if not more than the plot of the book they are discussing. The attention to detail is incredible. The inside covers made to look like a library checkout log with all the previous readers. The colors of the character’s pens changing throughout the book to let you know it’s a different day. The complete opposite handwriting styles of the two characters who meet by chance and become fascinated by this book.

The storytelling is so intuitive and insightful. In my top five. Also, all of the add ins were there :)

This is a story in a story

This is art. Everything about this book is amazing. It is a lot if you read it page for page, I read the story then went back to read the hand written dialogue. We need more books that break the Mould like this.
