Haven’t we all ran from something in our pasts? Angela Harold flees from her father’s murderer in Florida to a small town in Texas. There she meets veteran and rancher, Wilkes Wagner, who is running from thoughts of his first love. When their lives collide, they help each other to stop running from the past as they face the future together. I enjoyed the characters and how the true nature of a small town was portrayed as neighbor helping neighbor.
