Excellent Introduction to Russian Art

This is a book to be savored. I found my copy at a very low used price and was surprised at its high quality, large format reproductions. The viewer comes away with a sense of the Russian landscape as represented by many artists of the late 19th and early 20th centuries. If you think impressionism, romanticism, representationalism has been confined to France, Britian, USA, Spain, etc. you will be overwhelmed by the passionate, expressive vision of the Russians -- an artistic vision that is far too often overlooked by art historians. www.stevehendersonfineart.com
