Liz Branson has been working for Parkinson Enterprises in Ocala, Florida for a few months. Because of her previous experience working in bank fraud, the owner has asked her to step in and locate the source of some fraud that has been happening at the company. A short time later she meets Seth, the owner's son, who has come to assist her with the research.One night, when they leave work late in the evening, shots are fired at them as they exit the building. They run for Liz's car and take off. The chase continues. They change vehicles and stop at a port in Ft. Lauderdale. Whoever is after them stays hot on their trail. So they head to the Caribbean for other places to hide out.What starts out for Liz and Seth as friendship turns into something more when they get back to Florida. Seth is wondering how serious Liz is with her boyfriend, Trenton Moore, whom she had been dating when they escaped. Liz's safety is still an issue. What does somebody really want from her?
