Great book

Don't listen to the nay sayers, this is a good book. It contains all you'll need to know to get qmail installed and running. After reading the first eight chapters I was easily able to get qmail working. This was a big improvement over all the false starts and dead ends from attempting to follow the Internet qmail how-to articles. The author also educates about many of the things that e-mail delivery relies on such as DNS and PPP for dial-up. This book is money well spent if you need to build a qmail server.
This was just what I needed

This was a great book to help setting up Qmail from start to finish. It told me just what I needed to do step by step and got me up and running. Easy to read and follow even for someone with just a little-better-than-basic understanding of Linux.

You can either take a handfull of your favorite pain killers & search the net for some information (very little, and what is available is cryptic to say the least); or Buy This BOOK!Everything you ever wanted to know about qmail, but were afraid (or in too much pain) to ask. Qmail is by far the best mail server out there, it has everything you could ask for from Sendmail or Postfix, with the added bonus of security taken seriously.I have been running qmail for some time now, but never got everything I wanted out of it. This book helped me fine tune my mail services, manage virtual domains, aliases and various mailbox formats.I recommend this book to anyone and everyone running qmail, or considering migrating from another server.
The missing link to the qmail era

I come from a network administration/system administration stand point and this book really rocks hard. This book is for beginners all the way up to sendmail.cf ninjas. I am impressed by the direct "no cloud" approach of Blum's writting and hope to see more of his work. I've seen Sams books..but always scared to see simple man pages or FAQ that are on the web.. but this book shows how to setup virtual mail boxes(ISP), POP3, UUCP(dead), office mail server, PPP configuration, mail forwarding.. and lots more by SCRATCH!.. don't miss out on this book..sweet little book on my bookshelf
