Ben and Kerri Polandrow believe the CIA is giving them a Hawaiian vacation, but instead they fly to China. Their new mission is to safeguard a deadly virus. Ben has to play the part of a virologist or a CIA operative's identity could be exposed.
The Chinese government has been attempting to create the SARS virus, but soon learn it's easier to steal it. They destroy the foreign lab, so the virus can be uncovered.
Ben and Kerri hold the vials while being chased on a scooter all the way to a Mongolian airport. Their flight to Korea has engine trouble and makes an emergency landing in China. Ben is forced to help a woman give birth.
Once they arrive in Korea, they are chased and hide on a fishing boat, which goes out to sea. They miss the drop-off point again.
Ben believes it's finally over while flying home to Arizona, when two Arab terrorists poison their in-flight meals.
